making a copy of my System?

I have just done as I was instructed ... converted my HD from Fat 32 to NTFS.

Now I ask ... How can I make a copy of my system now .... with all the
up-date included so If I ever have to Format and re-load, I will have at
least have the updates as of today.
It takes so long re-loading and getting all of the up-dates!

I would like to make a bootable CD or DVD for emergency purposed. How do
I accomplish that? Thanks for you knowledge and patience.

Use an imaging program like Acronis True Image or Norton Ghost. Buy an
external (or second internal) hard drive on which to store the images.
My preference is for Acronis - www.acronis.com.
