possibilities, the number of server options, domain log-ons,
and a few other minor differences, such as the log-on
options...
Just use it in the simplest way and it will ACT just like
HOME.

No. Since Pro already does everything that Home does, plus a few more
things, there's no reason to do that.

XP Home and XP Pro are identical except for those features and
functions which are found only in XP Pro. In other words XP Pro is a
superset of XP Home.

Everything repeat everything that is included in XP Home is also in XP
Pro, although in some aspects the default settings may be different
between the two versions.

There is zero difference in performance or stability between XP Home
and XP Pro.

Both XP Home and XP Pro are compiled from the same source code base.
