Make powerpoint return to the first slide

How can I make a slide show in powerpoint return automatically to the first
slide, at "no activitet", that is when no one is clicking his way through the
slide show?

You mean you have a kiosk show and want PPT to return to the first slide
automatically when no one is advancing the show?
PowerPoint used to have that feature, if I remember correctly it returned to
the first slide after five minutes. Starting with version 2002 it seems to
work inconsistently, sometimes it does sometimes it does not.
