Major Problem

So, my computer won't start up.

I've got Windows XP. When I turn on my PC, it will load all the way up
to the XP loading screen (green scrolling bar), and then it will
restart. It will restart over and over. The last thing I saw before
this happened was at least 4 or 5 error messages that said something
along the lines of "not enough virtual memory." So basically, my
computer won't start, and at this point I'm willing to do anything to
get a working PC again. Is there anyway I can make my own format disc,
and just erase the harddrive? I don't have a Windows disc, so would I
need one of those? Thanks.

edit:It doesn't run in Safe Mode, or any of the other Safe Mode
options. It won't restart from the last known healthy point. I know how
to enter BIOS and start up from a disc or something, but what disk would
I need?

Check how much space you have available on your hard drive(s).
You may not have enough space.
