Mailing labels

In the past (MS 2000) I was able to mail merge and create labels for a group
of people I had singled out with a query in our Access database. Now that I
have MS XP, it appears I can only use tables? Queries do not show up?
Our front-end is MS Access, but our databse is MySQL using ODBC. Do I need
to "open new data source" or something?
 
On mine (WinXP, Office XP 2002), queries show up.
When you click the "Open Data Source" button, the queries show up
although the form is labeled "Select Table".
