Printing one label

D

Doug

I can print one page full of labels: no problem.
How can I print one label onto a specific label left on a page (8.5x11)
instead of wasting a page left full of labels.
I use MS Office 2007 Access.
I have a Table, Report and Query. After I selected the CRITERIA. I RUN the
Query and I see the Label to print.
Thankyou for your help.

Buy a label printer which is designed for printing one at a time.

If you are using a laser printer and trying to reuse sheets of labels,
don't. After a few times the labels can peel off and really jam up the
printer.

I use labels for name badges. There are lots of last-minute changes. I
just edit one of the original-run sheets at the label(s) where I want to
print, deleting everything on all the other labels. I have no problem with
labels sticking; this will be a problem for anybody who removes the label
material outside of the usable labels. When you print one label, only
remove that label--not the surrounding material. That leaves a hole on the
sheet; put an "X" there with a permanent marker so you don't accidentally
pick up that sheet thinking it is a full sheet of labels. BTW, I use 2007
Word with the Avery plugin; this leaves you with the label shape to put
anything you want in it. I design the label and add the mailmerge element.
Once the initial batch is printed, I'll just use the last one to cut and
paste single labels.
