Mail Server Issue

I have set up smtp mail server on windows server 2003. I have set up
an email address. i can send email from this account but cannot
recieve email from a local connection. I am getting 550 error
undeliverable message. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated?

Are you using Outlook as the client? Is Outlook on the seame system as the
SMTP server you describe here? What is the full text of the 550 message
(which is a server error)?

Yes i am using Outlook, no it is not on the same system but it is on
the same network with different mail settings.

550 Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable or not

That's a problem on the server. It doesn't recognize the domain as a local
one.
