Mail Merges

An "alias" mailbox was created which enables me to select who the outgoing
email is from (me or a department name). When I use the mail merge feature
in Outlook to send emails out from the "alias," mail merge only recognizes
the "From" from my name and not the department name. Is there a setting
somewhere I need to check to have it recognize the other "From"?

No such setting is available. You'd need to run the merge while logged in as the other mailbox.
