Mail Merge with Outlook

I have tried to mail merge a word docunment with outlook and all works out
fine with only one problem, in the from section of my merged emails this
field is blank. how can i get my details added to the from field.

The From field is not populated by the merge. It is populated by the
settings of your email account, just like any other email message.
