Magnifying the screen with a mouse

I just bought a mouse for my laptop. It is a 4 button mouse and the
4th button is used to magnify the screen.

Can I assign my Intellimouse 1.1A to do this? My mouse has a wheel,
but the wheel doesn't tilt.

Depends on the mouse driver. Try it using the wheel. (But you won't be able
to scroll if it works with the wheel)) .
