Magnified view in new messages

Outlook 2007 - PC - XP Pro

Greetings:

I don't know how I did it, but now whenever I open a new message composition
window the fonts appear huge. When I look at them they are listed as
regular size (i.e. Arial 10 pt.), but somehow the window has become
magnified so the font looks like an Arial 50 pt. How can I reset this?
Your help appreciated.

Have you tried looking on the Format Text tab and clicking the Zoom button?
I have to admit this is clumsier than previous versions, which had a zoom
box on the toolbar, but there's progress for you!

If your mouse has a scroll wheel, and the wheel is set to the default of
auto-scroll, there's an easier way to zoom in or out: hold down the Ctrl key
and scroll the wheel. This won't tell you, however, when you've reached
exactly 100%; for that you'll have to use the first method (above).

Hi Rojo:

That did it! Thank you sooo much! That was getting so aggravating. Have a
great day.

thanks for this solution - not sure why outlook 2007 defaulted to 175%.
It was driving me nuts as well!

What "solution"?

To whom are you talking and about what?
The "forum" that you are posting in leaches off the Microsoft News servers
in order to make it look far busier than it really is. Everyone who uses the
MS News servers sees your post on it's own - we have NO IDEA what you are
talking about and to whom you are talking.

This is not your fault - the fault lies with the forum owners who do not
explain to members that their posts end up on global Usenet newsgroups.
If you MUST continue to post in this "forum" then please at least quote the
post you are replying to, and do NOT change the subject line.

You would be far better off however, using a news reader and subscribing to
these news groups direct.
