Made Office updates on 4/22/05, now can't get email, can't move e.

Can't get any new emails, outlook attempted getting new emails, and showed
percent complete, but at the end, always say got some error. Before update,
while showing the percent, the new email will show up in inbox. Now, it does
not.

When attempting to move emails to different foler, got message "Can't move
the item" and button "OK." If using right click, then select "move to
folder," the error message reads: "The messaging interface has returned an
unknown error. If the problem persist, restart outlook." Restarting outlook
didn't help at all. Again, before update on 4/22/05, there was no problem
moving emails.
 
And what updates and version of Outlook are we talking about?
To start with run scanpst.exe to check your pst-file for errors.
