Macromedia projector has encountered a problem error message

Hi

I am having trouble running a cd-rom that i have recently purchased. It is a
language course called BBC GET INTO FRENCH. Every time I try to run the
software I get a message saying "Macromedia projector has encountered a
problem" and the program crashes. Does anyone have any ideas why this is
happening. I have quite a new computer with good spec graphics card and sound
card, so I don't think its because my system is not up to requirements. Plus
it is only a language course with basic graphics.

Many thanks in advance for your replies and help

Apparently the program was made with Macromedia Projector. Contact the
program mftr. for tech support with their software.

I can't help you. The program you are trying to install was made with
Macromedia Director which has nothing to do with Windows.

I Googled for "BBC Get Into French tech support" and you are right that
if you click the direct links you get the "no website" error. However,
if you click Google's cached link, you do get a tech support site which
has a phone number and email address. Here is a TinyURL of the cached
site:

http://tinyurl.com/qqzwm

If that still doesn't help, return the program to where you bought it
and get something else.
