Macromedia Projector and XP

I have just completed a clean install of XP Pro SP2 and am trying to install
Broadband software, but when trying to run the disc I keep getting the
following error message "Macromedia Projector has encountered a problem and
needs to close". Is it a driver problem? Thanks in advance for any help.

Do you *need* to install the software to use your broadband?
(Most of the time - it is totally unnecessary - and in my opinion - should
be avoided.)

Sounds like it was made *a long time ago* - but, you can either try to run
it in compatibility mode and/or install the latest versions of Adobe Flash
and Shockwave and hope for the best.

Exactly what do you mean by "Broadband software"? What does it consist
of? Is this software that was provided by your ISP?

If it was provided by your ISP, almost certainly you don't need it,
and it may not even be desirable. You are usually better off just
running the software that's part of Windows.
