Machine is not booting

Sir,

Please need your help to solve the following problem,

My friend's computer the windows XP is not working. When he switch on the
computer , the system will ask the following

1. Safe mode
2. Safe mode with net working
3. From the point where correctly working
4. Normally.

He tried with 4 options but unfortunatly after selecting any of the options
,l the system becomes hanging. Nothing will be displayed on the screen.

He has no XP installation CD. XP already installed while he purchasing the
machine. So please need your advise to solve the problem. Please help

Time for Him to take the machine to his local repair shop and ask them to
repair it for him.

Unfortunately, you've told us nothing about the machine or its recent
history. Therefore, giving you focused advice is impossible. The cause of
the problem could be hardware, software, or even a combination. In any
case, without an XP install CD (or perhaps any way to restore the machine
to factory condition), your friend can't go further.

You can post back with more information per the links below, or your friend
can take the machine to a local computer professional. I don't recommend
using a BigComputerStore/GeekSquad type of place.
