Hi all,
My Win2K machine is setup for a home/office network. It has client for
microsoft networks installed, and has file sharing enabled. It also has a
share setup for one of the disk drives.
I use this facility only when I take the pc to my office & connect to the
network there (which is infrequent).
Currently, this machine cannot see itself in the network.... ie. in explorer
it doesn't sho from : My Network Places, Entire Network, Microsoft Windows
Network, "my workgroup name "....
(Note : I need to have the files haring facility even when I'm not on the
network at the office due to how an Access application works with linked
tables.... ).
So any hints ? Setup of home office looks fine. I may have bumped something
recently, but can't for the life of me see what ...
