Hi,
I am planning to invest in a copy of MAC OS X and wondering if the OS can be
installed on PCs and dual booted with Windows XP.... Thanks

No you will need an emulator like PearOS which will create a virtual Mac to
install OS X on. It runs dismally slow on my P4 2.6 with 1GB DDR

No it can not. You would need to get a Mac emulator that would run inside
of Windows XP. I can't comment on how stable it is or how well it works as
I have never used, but one such emulator that is free is PearPC from
http://pearpc.sourceforge.net/.

But in the future this may change.

Or you could wait . . .
Apple to use Intel.

Old news. But will the hardware that ships with the Intel based Macs have
Windows compatible drivers? Since Apple hasn't yet released the full specs
for these machines, it is premature to say that Windows will be able to run
on them.
