MA-620 Infrared Adapter Problem with XP

I recently bought the MA 620 Infrared adapter and though
I have installed it properly (many times) It still won't
communicate with a sony ericsson cell phone I have. The
pc shows that the device has been installed and is
working and the cell phone is also working properly but
won't work together. Does anyone have any ideas????

I am having the exact problem...(Still trying to work it out so I don't have a solution yet.)...I am running XP Pro SP-1 on a Tecra A1, I bought the MA-620 from scuba pro. Everything in the windows environment (device mgr) says that it is working correctly...the IR "device in range" in the taskbar is showing up when I have my Palm in front of it and also when I put the dive computer in front but for some reasom there is no other communication between the devices. The driver installed is the latest and all software is the latest. W$ is updated completely??????????
