lsass - Operation failed

After installing a Windows XP Embedded image, I get the following message-box when XP starts

lsass.exe - Operation faile
The requested operation was unsuccessfu

The only option is to press OK, which causes the machine to reboot
We use the standard winlogon component
Can anyone explain the reason for this message

Stig,

Remove any extra user accounts that you added in TD. Also set the
administrator account to have a blank password. Or better yet remove the
administrator account, and check dependencies to have it added again with
the defaults. Rebuild the image and run FBA again. See if that helps. This
error is typically caused by failed user account information in XP Pro
that's why I'm suggesting this. HTH,
