Lsass.exe-Bad Image

The app or dll C:\windows\system32\cryptdll.dll is not a
valid windows image, check against install diskette.

After clicking ok, another popup appears and the computer is counting
down to restart.
The same thing happens in safemode. How do I solve this problem? All I
can do so far is getting into DOS-mode via bootdisk.
I was told by pressing CTRL-Alt-Del I'd get to the taskmanager where I
could execute "shutdown-Abort", but I'm not even getting to the
taskmanager.

Hi Chris,
Can you slave this hard drive to another computer running windows 2000?
If you can I would try and rename you current versions of these 2 files
and try and replace then from a working computer. Another option is
doing a Parallel installation of Windows 2000

How to perform a parallel installation of Windows 2000 or Windows Server
2003
