Low Virtual Memory

I have just installed W2kPro on a P4/2.26GB/256MB RAM machine; added users
in addition to the administrator. When I logged on as the user, I got a "Low
Virtual Memory" message. I have tried resizing (as the administrator), both
initial and maximum sizes as well as setting both to zero before
restarting - all with no success. Each time the machine restarts, I get the
same "LVM" message and when I open the applet, it says that Windows has
created a paging file of only 20MB.

Please help if you can because I do not look forward to reformating or
reloading Windows everytime this problem occurs.

Thank you,
DaCosta

What size is your hard drive? Is it partitioned? What
size are the partitions? Normally you can resize the
paging file if the hard drive has the space to do it. Is
the paging file on the same drive as the OS?
