Low virtual memory- very slow response

I have a workgroup of 4 computers, and recently the main computer is reacting
very slow and after a while message appears that this computer is very low on
virtual memory.

I deleted all temp files, defragmentaion and also increase the virtual
memory of that particular computer but still its acting slow.

Please help me in this regards

Add more RAM. Also see if there are too many process running an
disable those that are not needed. Run a disk cleanup and chkdsk befor
you defragment your drive.

If "increase the virtual memory" means that you increased the size of the
pagefile, you didn't increase it enough. Instead of continual guessing, let
the system manage the size of the pagefile.

Deleting temp files and defragmentation should be done every now and then.
However, it is very unlikely that these items contribute much to the low
memory situation unless the disk is so fragmented or so full that the
pagefile cannot be extended enough.
