Low sound volume

I have a creative SB live Value (WDM) sound card, and for
the past couple of weeks, the sound level is not what it
should be, it is lower. My system volume is at max and I
have to turn my speakers up to almost max and even then
it is not what it was. I have tried different media and
different songs, all the same...

Mike, did you look in Control Panel>Sound and Audio Devices>Volume>Advanced.
Make sure all the sliders are up.
