lovsan worm.A

My virus scan detected the lovsan worm.A last night at 11
pm. I don't know what to do...do I just download a patch
for this? I am fairly competent with computers...I just
don't know all the lingo and stuff...plus I don't want to
use my computer too much in case this worm continues to
wreak havoc in my computer.
What do I do? my internet searches led me to 3 sites so
far (this is my fourth option)...will keep looking, but
does someone know how to rid this?

There are 2 more variants out now.
The exes for the variants are teekids.exe and penis32.exe
Kelly's script kills all 3 variants.

If you are having trouble staying up to get the patch and removal tool:
When the shutdown prompt appears,go to start/run and type
shutdown -a to abort the shutdown process to allow you to stay up and
online.
