Loud vibration noise at sign in

When I first start up the computer and sign in the music clip starts up and
then a loud vibration noise starts up. Then it stops and everything seems to
be OK. I have windows XP pro installed. I bought the disc and Its the only
windows program that has been installed on this computer. When the noise
starts up the mouse freezes up but it's alright after the noise stops. Can
any one help?
Thank you,

Do you have a CD in the drive? If so, take it out. This could be causing the
vibration.(some CDs are out of balance)

Try updating your soundcard drivers from the card mftr.'s website (not
from Windows Update).

Is it your computer or the speakers?
If it is your computer then check to see if your cpu fan
is loose. of you have a Q-fan make sure the screws are
tight. maybe the Fan is not compatable with a Q-fan
controall if so use the conversion kit to wire it to your
power supply

If it is your audio. make sure your speakers are correct
for your card. or update your driver
