lots of windows??

when i click on something for example if i go into control panel and click on
an icon it turns blue(yes) but if i click on another-say 3 rows down - the
whole lot of icons in these rows turn blue.If i try to open on they all start
opening and i end up with a heap of windows ??? plz help..thmz

Check your mouse and its batteries if any. Scan the system for malware.
Not a Windows issue.
 
Unstick your Ctrl keys.
