Lost use of part of Hard Drive

I reenstalled windowsxp Professional. I deleted the D
drive so too have the C drive all in place without the
partition. After enstall I only had the C: drive space
recognised. What can be done to correct.

Unless you used a third party partitioning program like Partition
Magic to expand drive C to fill the empty space left by drive D, you
now have unallocated space on your hard drive. In order to get back
the space, you will have to create a partition in the empty space,
format it, and assign it a drive letter.
