lost taskbar

i suddenly had my taskbar on desktop just dissapear and i can't seem to get
it to show up now. it is like it is there but isn't and or invisible. any
suggestions on how to retrieve my taskbar so i can minimize and get back into
open windows and programs?
 
This behavior can occur if the Windows settings for a particular user
account are corrupted.

To use the VBS Files: Download .vbs file and save it to your hard drive
(you may want to right click and use Save Target As). Double click the vbs
file. You will be prompted when the script is done.

What you lost exactly? <G>

Place your Mouse at the bottom of your screen and see if it changed to
Double header like this <---> but upward and drag your Taskbar to the
surface.
Another Press the WinKey and Right click the Start Button and select
Properties.
Click Taskbar Tab and make sure these boxes checked:
[√ ] Lock the taskbar
[√ ] Keep the taskbar on top of other windows
[ √] Group similar taskbar buttons

Click Apply then OK and Hit F5 on your keyboard.
