lost sound

I have W-2000Pro. I have lost the sound. I have check the volume control, it is not on mute.
Therefore, the sound has been deleted by a virus or accidentally erased. Will
appreciate any advice. Thanks. John

Are your speakers turned on and plugged in correctly?

Try removing update 835732 if you installed it. It may require that other
updates be removed as well.

It worked for me.
