Lost search function on start menu

Search function used to find files in the computer hangs
up fuction. Exe or dll file miossing or corrupt. How do
i reload this or fix it?

Are you able to bring-up the search window using F3 key?

If the Start Menu search "Find Files or Folders" does not work,
Download SearchMenuFix from www.mvps.org/sramesh2k

Or, does search companion freeze while finding files?
