Greetings,
I know that the DWORD registry entry 'NoFind' can be used in
'HKEYCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer' to
remove Find from the Start Menu. I almost never use Find from the Start Menu
so it makes sense to remove it.
The trouble is this registry edit also disables the Search function from
within Windows Explorer. The toolbar button and F3 have no effect. While I
use a third-party app for general file searches, sometimes it is handy to tap
F3 within a folder I'm working on and use the in-built search function.
Is there any way of removing the Start Menu item while having Search enabled
within the file manger?
Thanks.
