LOST Right Click "Save Image As" Sometimes

On a website - Right Click image and get context menu option "Save Image As"

In folder my pictures - Right Click image and no not get context menu option
"Save Image As"

A system restore to earilier date did not restore the command.

All ideas appreciated.
 
Are you using an English version of XP? On a website, if you right click an image you should see "Save Picture As."

There is no "Save As" menu item on a right click menu in the My Pictures folder, since the image has already been saved as a local file in that folder. You can right click and "Copy" the file and then paste it somewhere else.

I have never seen that choice while using Explorer, only in a browser.
 
Thanks Ronnie and Don. You are correct, of course. Next time I will do a
restore on the addled brain I own.
