Lost Registred Computer - Help

Microsoft must maintain a database of registered XP. I registered Windows
XP on my son's new laptop before sending it to him overseas. He has not
received it. It was mailed five months ago. Who could I contact at
Microsoft to trace his computer?

Sandra,

If the PC or CD is lost in the mail - then I doubt that we can do much to
help you trace it with the company you shipped it with.
I would contact them first and see what they can do about tracing your lost
hardware.
