PC registration

Can someone be of help please? A friend gave me his PC a microsoft XP home
edition when he left the country. I´ve had it a while and did not have a
problem until I bought my web cam and tried to e mail a photo. Its
registered to him and I have no idea on how to change the registration. Any
help would be appreciated. Thanks.
