Google is your friend. Googling for

"lost recycle bin"

gives me more than 5,000 hits.

TweakUI > Desktop > Recycle Bin > tick > Apply > OK.

Get TweakUI for XP from Microsoft.
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx
Once it's installed & running, check Recycle Bin in the Desktop section.

Before if I deleted something it went to the Recycle Bin and I could restore
it , if I needed it
Now nothing is showing up

Downloaded it , but nothing shows up

It was with Norton System Works , they used it in their cleanup program and
renamed it
