Lost Profile

Can anyone please help me get life back to normal?
On trying to start my pc I received an error message
stating that it couldnt "load my profile as it may have
been corrupted" followed by a message telling me that i
would be logged in with a temporary profile and any
changes would not be saved. I was logging on as
administrator, have checked updates and scanned for
virus' already.

- Create a second admin account (you should have
one anyway!).
- Rename "c:\documents and settings\administrator"
to something else.
- Log on as administrator. A new profile will be created for you.

Note that it is not a good idea to use the administrator account
for your everyday work. Doing so makes it easy for viruses to
spread.
