lost password

I recently picked up a trashed Win2000 box. I wanna see if I can salvage
it. the problem is that I don't know the password for the user account on
it. is there any way to reset or remove the password?

Your *best* option is to wipe the PC and install the OS of your choice.

You have no idea what is on that PC and your data and/or personal information may be
subsequently compromised.
