lost OL icon on desktop

I uninstalled StyleXP and lost the desktop icon associated with OL 2002
in the process (it's just a blank png now).
I mean that the icon is still "there" so to speak, just blank, no image.
It is NOT a shortcut as when I right click on it and choose properties a
dialog box pops up to change email accounts or create a new identity, etc.

Anyone know how I can get back the image for the icon?

Select a maintenance installation of Office and select the option to
"restore shortcuts."

In the past, I've had to reinstall Outlook to get that icon back.

It is not really necessary though. You can create a new shortcut to
outlook.exe.

Try installing the TweakUI Windows XP Powertoy and use the "Repair" function
to fix all your icons.
