Lost my task bars

In WORD, I no longer have my tool or task bars.

Yesterday my computer starting sloooowing down. Then when
setting up a new document I noticed no task/tool bars.

I am able to create a new document. Above the the dark
blue bar which typically sits above the tool/task bars
appears "Document 1-Microsoft Word" and the
minimize/maximize/close buttons (in the upper right
corner). And the ruler and "View" buttons appear in bottom
left corner but no bars, nothing else.

Is there any grey area under the area that says "Document
1-Microsoft Word?" If there is, try RIGHT Clicking in
that area, doing this should provide a menu that would
give you a selection of menu bars to display (The default
is Standard and Formatting).

If you have a bar that says |File|Edit|View|etc.| Click on
View and go to the Tool bar selection. this will give you
the same menu as the right click function.
