Lost my System Information

Hi

Running win XP Pro. All is well, except for one quirk:

If I go to Run and type msinfo32.exe, I used to get detailed information on
all aspects of my system. Now, all I get is the same "Help and Support"
panel that comes on when I go to Start > Help & Support.

Is my computer screwed up? Am I screwed up because I am thinking of Win 98?

What am I doing wrong?

Well i have had the same problem. However i never did find out what the
cause was. I assumed it may have been caused by an update. Luckily my system
was in need of a refresh and so i reinstalled windows xp complete with all
updates and now the problem has disappeared. If you don't want t reinstall
youmight want to look at an application called Aida32 system information
Application. I think it is freeware. I don't have the url to hand try using
a search engine to search the web for the site.
