lost internet connection when update service pack

Hi:

My problem is that when I try to install a service pack
lilke the last time was service pack 4 I lost my internet
connectivity. My connection is cable through a hub by
Linksys pci card. Thank you if anybody can help because i
need to install visual studio .net into my machine.

Are you downloading this file or running it off a CD. If downloading it,
there might be a problem with your speed settings on your PCI card. If
installing from a disk, your Linksys driver may be getting overwritten with
and older version of the driver. Go to linksys.com and download the latest
version of your PCI card drive and apply it after applying the service pack.
