Lost ICS icon after ZA reinstall

A corrupted ZoneAlarm was blocking my ICS, so I removed it and
re-initialized my ICS. Reinstalled ZA and all works well, now.
However, the client PCs do not show the ICS connection in the network
connection window. ICS works but these icons and the tray activity
icons are missing. How do I get these back?? Also, one of the clients
is "cranky" about making the internet connections. It is the furthest
from the dialup connection...is there a possible S/N issue?

Also, since the reinstall, the network activity is way down...the
network activity tray icon was always going before, now it just
"pulses" as some periodic traffic hits the network. Likely I have
eliminated some program permissions from internet access that use to
send lots of stuff that I was not blocking before...am now, but
nothing has asked for access. Seems strange.

Thanks for your help.

Some versions of ZoneAlarm are incompatible with ICS on the host
computer. If ZA is causing problems, un-install it and use a
different firewall. XP's built in Internet Connection Firewall (RTM,
SP1) or Windows Firewall (SP2) works fine to protect the Internet
connection.

Replacing ZA is my fall back. But ZA works...it is just that the icons
in the network connections window are now gone...were there and now
are not. ZA works OK but this icon display feature is blocked now. Any
ICS reasons why XP might not display these icons when the internet
connection...a dialup...is connected?
