Lost HD

I just tried to access my 2nd HD of 250g and it says that it is not
formated... What the hell just happened to me. I was just using it about an
hour ago and bang it's gone.

I need help.

I'd download and run a disk diagnostic utility from the drive manufacturer's
web site.
