Lost files

I have lost my files which were word and excel
documents. I have been able to access them through doing
a search but cannot move them to a folder where they
were. Outlook express is no longer available and I
caannot access that at all.

Try a System File Check Start>Run type sfc /scannow Have the
WinXPcd in the cdrom drive.

Huh? What happens when you try to move them?

Outlook express is no longer available and I
caannot access that at all.

If it's no longer on your computer than you'll have to reinstall it in
order to use it.
