Hi Guys,

Opened a file that I have been working on this morning.

Went to change something on the first sheet and Excel complained that the
VBA module was protected and crashed out. Now the file is missing.
I ran my undelete program, which see's the file, but when I open it after
recoverey Excel informs me its in an unrecognised format. It still opens but
the contents are unreadable and I can not see the most important bit (the
VBA Code)

Does any one know if Excel puts its files in a temp directory anywhere or
how I can recover the file.

Thanks for your help,

Steve Wilson,.

Hi,

You would like to use really mighty data recovery tool i you wish to
restore valuable file. I suppose using Active@ Undelete or Uneraser
(for pure DOS) data recovery utils for this purpose. their algorithm is
imho moist powerful of all tools I've used before. They should
definatley help, give it a try.
