I needed to re-install Windows so I pulled my large slave
drive and re-installed Windows on my app drive.
Everything went great except I recieved a new computer
name (was EX: Jake-29sdih29, Now EX: Jake-98273rh)
Anyway the system is back up and everything works except
several of the files on my other drive have green text
for descriptors and I can't access teh files. When I go
to Properties the read only is not checked but is
highlighted green. So what gives and how do I repaor
this???

Green file name in explorer means encrypted with EFS (Encrypting File
System). If when you open the
advanced properties UI, the "Encrypt contents to secure data" checkbox is
checked, again this means encrypted with EFS.
Unless you've backed up the EFS certificate and its private key on the
installation where it was encrypted, your data is lost.
