Lost Fade Effect on Start Button

Hey, Everyone

For some reason, I've lost the fade effect when I click on the Start
button. Also, when I click on All Programs.

I've got all my settings to Fade:
---System/Advanced/Performance/Settings/[everything is checked]
---Display/Appearance/Effects/[Fade Effect is checked]
---also, the registry shows a value of "3e"

It almost seems like it's going to fast. It appears immediately. The
submenus seems to have fade effect, however.

Any help or ideas on how to get it back would be appreciated. I
actually like the fade thing. My hand-eye coordination ain't fast
enough to over-run it.

Hi,

So is it there or not? Are or you just stating that the Start menu flashes
too quickly to tell? If you are using TweakUI, check under General for Fade
also under Mouse for Menu Speed. Good luck!
