Lost everything?

I used to work for a company that runs Exchange.
Therefore, I had Outlook on my laptop set up to keep all
my contacts, calendar, as well as email and everything
else in my Exchange account, with offline files.
I quit that job several months ago, but I still kept
using that local (offline) account, along with my
personal IMAP/POP/HTTP-based email accounts in Outlook.

Today I archived all my old mail (Inbox) from the
Exchange account, and then I decided to delete the
account. (unfortunately, I only archived the Inbox, not
the Contacts, Calendar, Notes, etc, thinking they would
be migrated automatically) I received a warning saying
that my calendar, contacts, etc, needed to be moved to a
different account, so I selected one.
I closed and restarted Outlook, but all contacts and
calendar, etc seem to be gone.

I searched for all .pst and .ost files, but I can't find
anything that contains my contacts and calendar.

Please, help!
How do I get my stuff back?

There is an outlook.ost file in %userprofile%\local
settings\application data\microsoft\outlook, but I can't
open it.
