Lost emails after upgrade

I just upgraded from Win98 SE to Win XP. After an
uneventful upgrade I went to Outlook Express and all of
my emails are gone. Addresses still seem to be intact.
I now have OE 6.0 and I think that's what I had before
the upgrade. Do you know where I can find all my emails?

I looked in the knowledge base and didn't see anything.
