Lost email following rebuild

W

WylieCoyote

I corrupted my boot sector which resulted in me having to rebuild my PC.
Once I got the PC back up and running, I reinstalled Office and using the MSN
connector, connected Outlook to by msn account. However, I appear to have
lost all my earlier emails. I noticed they still appear if I view my emails
using Live Mail but I can't seem to find a way to get Outlook (or the server
at the other end) what I guess where previously sync'ed emails.

I've got my emails folders and contacts, the only thing I'm missing is my
emails.

Any advice gratefully received.

Do you see the messages when you log into MSN via web browser?

My wife's maiden name is "Wylie". She was called "Wylie Coyote" when she was
a kid (even though the cartoon's name is "Wile E. Coyote").

Yes I can see all the emails using MSN via the web browser. They're just
not appear in Outlook.

I also grew up with the Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote (showing my age!!).
Just seemed a good nickname.

Are you using something called "MSN Connector" or "Outlook Connector"? What
version of Outlook?

I thought i'd downloaded MSN connector but Outlook connector appears in the
Menu bar at the top when Outlook loads up, next to Help. I'm using Outlook
12.0.6423.1000. It's the same number shown for both Outlook Connector and
Outlook.
